Bonjour,

J’aimerais saisir cette opportunité pour me présenter. Mon nom est Christine Sägesser Baethge et j’ai rejoint ISOC cette semaine en tant que “Manager, Chapters and Individual Members” avec un accent sur les sections (chapters) de ISOC situés en Afrique et au Moyen Orient.

Avant de rejoindre ISOC, j’ai travaillé en tant que Responsable de projets européens pour SwissMedia, l’Association Suisse du IT et du multimédia, ainsi qu’en tant que Responsable des projets web pour le département de communication du Conseil œcuménique des Eglises (COE), tout en poursuivant mes études de Master en Relations Internationales. Mon poste au sein du COE m’a permis de travailler beaucoup avec des volontaires d’à travers le monde et je me réjouis d’utiliser cette expérience dans notre collaboration.

Les langues sont une vraie passion pour moi et je parle donc couramment le français, l’anglais et l’allemand et j’essaie de perfectionner mon arabe et mon italien.

Dear all,

I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Christine Sägesser Baethge and I joined ISOC this week as Manager, Chapters and Individual Members with a focus on the Chapters in Africa and the Middle East.

Before joining ISOC, I was working as a European Project Manager for SwissMedia, the Swiss IT- and Multimedia Association, and as a Web Project Manager for the World Council of Churches (WCC), both, while studying part-time for a Masters degree in International Relations and World Order. My role at the WCC allowed me to work a lot with volunteers from all around the world and I look forward to building on this experience by working with you.

I have a passion for languages and am thus fluent in English, French and German, while I also speak Arabic and some Italian.
