[Chapter-delegates] Invitation: ISOC Chapter Engagement Advisory Committee - volunteers needed

ISOC Chapter AMS-Engagement Advisory Committee (CEAC)  - volunteers  
needed

As the membership system portal is now live, the CSC has fulfilled its  
important task. The next step is to ensure that we have appropriate  
chapter input and needs captured as we move into Phase 3, the  
development of the Engagement platform including the replacement of  
the current portal with an open software version of the front-end to  
the Aptify-AMS-system.

We would like to assemble an ISOC Chapter Engagement Advisory  
Committee to help with this work. The Committee will play a key role  
in defining Chapter and membership requirements for the ongoing  
development of the ISOC AMS-engagement platform. The committee will  
also play a key role in communicating project updates to the Chapters,  
as well as testing the Chapter and membership components of the AMS- 
chapter-portal after its movement to the open source platform. The  
committee will be consulted and will provide input in the ongoing  
discussion of functionality provided by the new platform. In  
particular, aspects of the globally re-usable functions between the  
different stakeholder groups (staff, project groups, chapters and  
individual members) will be discussed and evaluated. The group should  
help to pinpoint omissions and add missing features. New functionality  
and new modules in the engagement section will be discussed, previewed  
and tested by the group as they are developed and implemented.  The  
committee will work using tele-conferences, email and other remote  
tele-collaboration tools. The workload will be periodic and regular,  
often with short deadlines. The work will start very soon and will be  
continued alongside the work on Engagement and chapter-portal through  
this year and into next year.
