Oliver,
I guess one could venture to say that ISOC is "always perfect" in
their statements. One could also say that an organization such as
ISOC, including all of its local Chapters, distinguished supporting
members, massive volunteers serving crucial roles in Internet
development through associated organizations, and freely accepted and
supported global members (the elite?) keeps all of these real people
in mind when "going public" with a statement.
That sort of organization tends to make statements that are
"pre-vetted" because every person with a public voice realizes they
are not speaking for themselves...
