This is also the reason why I pushed to have some chapter "stories" in the annual report. Stories which show a few activities from chapters as the old reporting was to report only things that ISOC HQ sponsored. This was madness to not recognize things like a chapter organizing a major event like an ICANN meeting because ISOC HQ put no money into it.

The annual report at the time, was useless to me, it was promoting ISOC HQ, not the work chapters do inside a bigger structure.

After looking through the document, it makes me even more passionate to 
put on the table yet another reason why the chapters should be playing 
bigger role in the overall ISOC life. I think, though, that it may make 
sense to include at the end also some (or may be even all?) of the 
chapter news from the year.
It will show the readers that not only there are chapters, but they do 
quite a lot of good things.
