Hi.
On behalf of ISOC-Bulgaria, I'd like to congratulate all elected
candidates, and wish them wisdom and courage to help change ISOC into
one of the leading organizations in the world.
Special greetings go to the "chapter candidate", Khaled! Good work!
Today, probably more than ever, ISOC needs leadership and vision. Vision
where the [Internet] world could (or should?) be in five or ten years
and leadership to make sure ISOC can continue to lead the Internet
revolution, and make sure the Internet is for everyone.
I hope that the ISOC chapters worldwide will be excited to see Jonathan
Zittrain on board, and will be expecting his contributions in the
constant struggle how to avoid the end of the Internet ;)
I'd like to thank Franck Martin, with whom I had the pleasure to serve
some time at the ISOC Board, and in many different other forums, for his
time and contributions. You can keep your head up, and be proud that you
at least tried to change ISOC for good!
Sincerely,
Veni Markovski
President and Chairman of the Board
Internet Society - Bulgaria
