MOZCAMP UTRECHT

Hello all,

while many of you will be busy for ICANN and the chapter meetings
in Mexico (sorry I can't be there this time) something you might want
to discuss amongst each other. We (Internet Society Netherlands) are
organising an event called Mozcamp together with Mozilla Europe, NLLGG,
NLUUG, NOiV, SURFnet and W3C on Friday 6 March, 2009 from 10:00 to
17:00 at SURFnet in Utrecht (NL). This is the first in a series of
events across Europe for people passionate about the open web. We think
this would be an excellent opportunity/formula for chapters to jump
into, so if you are interested let us know and we can hook you up with
the people that want to organise similar events across Europe.

Each event will include discussion, hands-on-demos and collaborative
scheming about ways to promote and protect the open participatory
nature of the internet. Local Mozillians, bloggers, designers, hackers,
creative commonors and other open web aficionados present and
participate. These events are about making the web more open, and thus
making the internet more open.

When:

Friday 6 March, 2009 from 10:00 to 17:00
