I worked on a 3 year African IXP project with some other ISOC members.  
Please see http://afix.afrispa.org, there is all the materials  
required (participants as well as lecture notes, etc) for both a 2-day  
technical workshop as well as a half-day decision makers workshop.

I'll try to attend the telecon.
