[Chapter-delegates] Giant database plan 'Orwellian'

Hello Frank Martin,

1. What percentage of the Global Internet users are adept at such
technologies as PGP and IPSec ? I would be surprised if a total of 10
million users use PGP and IPSec.

2. With Governments determined to break into your mind, I wonder if it is
beyond their capacity to find a way to break into VPNs or find a way to
outsmart PGP and IPSec.

The problem is that Jacqui Smith says it is necessary. And so do several
other Governments and their home ministers. There has been a subtle
"Weapons of Mass Destructions online" propaganda that has slowly crept into
our minds that half the world already believes that the Internet is
"explosive" and is inclined to buy such arguments as the necessity of
Orwellian measures, dubbed so or not.
