[Chapter-delegates] REMINDER - OneWebDay 2008 E-meeting May 20th

Dear all
The first OneWebDay e-meeting will start in ca. 1/2 hour. Only two
Chapters have indicated their participation for the UTC 10:30 meeting so
far. This is a *last call* to let me know if you wish to join this
meeting - otherwise I will have to cancel it due to the low interest
from the Chapters.
I would like to encourage you to take the opportunity to e-meet Susan
Crawford if you are interested in participating in the OneWebDay 2008 event.
Please make also sure to sign up for the UTC 20:00 meeting a.s.a.p. if
you wish to attend so that we are aware of the level of interest.
Best,
Sabrina Wilmot
ISOC

> In 2007 many Chapters participated in a global, decentralised event
> called "OneWebDay". OneWebDay 2008 describe the purpose of the day as:
>
> "... to encourage people to think of themselves as responsible for the
> Internet, and to take good and visible actions on Sept. 22 that
> celebrate the positive impact of the Internet on the world and shed
> light on the problems of access and information flow."
>
> A mailing list <onewebday at elists.isoc.org> was set up to facilitate

> to the mailing list, please send email to <chapters at isoc.org>.
