Hi Tony

To my knowledge there are no specific ISOC meetings during the few days you
will be staying in Europe...but, as concerns other important meetings, you
are just on time for a very important one in Brussels on IPv6
Please check the following link.

The European Commission is indeed organizing a *big event* on 30 May, in
Brussels
Agenda full of well known people from Commissioner Reding to Vinton Cerf,
including Afrinic Abdiel Akplogan or Axel Pawlik

I regret that I will not be able to attend myself as I will be out of Europe
but you should be able to meet with my colleague Matthew Shears and I
anticipate that other chapters might be attending that event, and as the
case may be, some representatives from the ECC.

Best Regards

Frederic

Subject: [Chapter-delegates] Any ISOC related events in Europe in June

I have seen very productive discussion about the potential for some more
face to face discussion between ISOC chapters. In particular, I used to
find this contact through INET meetings very valuable. Now, some of
that contact has been available through regional meetings, such as
PacINET, ICANN and APRICOT, where chapter gatherings have been held.

In the same line, I plan to visit Europe in the near future and would
welcome information about any ISOC related events or meetings that will
be held at the time of my visit. ISOC Australia is particularly
interested in issues related to IPv6, but we also have a wide range of
interest areas.

My dates for this trip will be arriving in Europe from 28 May and
departing on 6 June. Locations are still flexible at this time, but
probably mostly in the Belgium and France area.

I hope there is an opportunity to meet again with some of you from
Europe ISOC chapters during this visit.

regards, Tony Hill
