Thanks for your email.

Speaking personally, I am an optimist :).   I think that change is  
taking place across ISOC - perhaps it is more evolutionary than  
revolutionary. I think that within the Sphere project we have an  
incredible and unique opportunity before us, an  opportunity to  
constructively address issues that matter to the chapters.  Over the  
last month or two, i have seen enough signs of life emerging in the  
Sphere project to warrant further optimism and commitment.  With your  
experience, you could make a significant contribution to the  
project.  Four projects have been initiated.  Despite your  
frustration, I would encourage you to take a look at the wiki pages,  
to pick a project, and to get involved.
