[Chapter-delegates] AMS-project

Dear chapter-delegates,

many of you will already have heard about the AMS-project (Association
Management System).
This project is targeted to find and select a software system to aid the
internal organization of ISOC.
This system shall also be used as membership management system and for
widespread chapter usage. 
There is a group of people representing chapters (CSC-Chapter Steering
Committee). The CSC feeds input into the AMS-project and reviews papers
from the AMS-project to make sure all requirements for chapters and
members are fulfilled.

We have prepared a draft containing a list of points which will be used
to define in the system requirements.
This draft is based on a Summary of requirements prepared by the
AMS-project earlier this year.

Please find attached a PDF of the latest version of our draft. Please
look at this document and send your questions and comments. You can find
several pages of additional information in the WIKI. All our background
material is available at the chapter-wiki

you can find our archives and notes. 

Please send any comments, questions or any input from your chapter or
member point of view directly to me (dittler at isoc.de), I will feed it
into the CSC and/or AMS-team in my function as CSC-leader.
