Dear Colleagues,
As many of you know, ISOC has been invited by the OECD to co-ordinate
the technical community's participation in the preparatory process of
the 2008 Ministerial Conference, "The Future of the Internet Economy"
which will take place in Seoul, South Korea 17-18 June 2008.
ISOC is also organising the "Technical Communities Forum" which will be
held in Seoul on the 16th June. This Forum will be a unique opportunity
for the Technical Community to stress issues of importance within the
three themes that will be discussed by the Ministers: Creativity,
Confidence and Convergence.
On September 27th last year you were invited to attend an e-meeting on
ISOC's leadership role in co-ordinating the Technical Community's
participation in the preparatory process for the 2008 OECD Ministerial
Conference on "The Future of the Internet Economy".
Subsequent to that meeting, we would like to share with you the progress
to date in preparation for these events and to invite suggestions from
Chapter Delegates for potential topics for the agenda of the "Technical
Communities Forum" and to assist with identifying potential speakers.
You are invited to attend an e-conference on 6th February at UTC 10.30
and UTC 20.00 with Bill Graham and Constance Bommelaer. Full details of
the call and the proposed agenda are at:

If you would like to attend the e-meeting please sign up to the wiki at

We look forward to your participation. If you have any queries, please
do not hesitate to contact myself or Sabrina.
Best wishes,
Anne
