Let us surf in safety(security) on the Internet in Quebec!
ISOC Quebec reveals you the results of a determining study for the
protection of the youth which navigates on the Internet and for the
governance of the broadcasting (audiovisual) contents available on Internet.
The members of ISOC Quebec, the media and the bodies concerned by the
protection of the youth of Quebec will soon be invited to the
presentation of the results of the study (12 and 14 of Feb.)
This study, the first one in Quebec of this scale, establishes a
complete analysis of the tools and approaches that propose the private
sector, the governments and the civil society in the countries having
the most Internet users. It illustrates the big tendencies in this
respect, in protection of the youth.
Besides positioning Quebec among the other countries and the Canadian
provinces in protection of the youth on Internet, the study subjects
recommendations of actions to take which will allow to make progress in
sensitization and in information on this subject.
