The following HASTAC Initiative competition has crossed my radar and I  
welcome you to share the information with your membership.

This is a pilot phase so the competition is only open to institutions  
and organizations registered in the following countries: Canada,  
India, Japan, Mexico, The Netherlands, Nigeria, The People's Republic  
of China, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, the United Kingdom, or the  
United States

Awards for the Innovation in Participatory Learning competition will  
range from US$30,000 - $250,000.
