Hello all,

Thankyou again for sending in responses to the first public comment period of the Improving Institutional Confidence (IIC) consultation.

And thank you also for the feedback I received from many of you during the review period. The summary/analysis - which is now posted online - represents, I hope, an objective summary of what was said by you all. It will be used as a general guide for the PSC to review and revise the IIC documents in time for a second public comment period starting in early September.

You may also be interested to know of a series of regional consultative meetings for the IIC consultation that were just announced. The idea is to reach as many of ICANN's global stakeholders as possible, plus allow for more and wider discussion and debate surrounding the points in the IIC documents.

So far, four meetings have been announced; at least one more in Africa is coming.

Here are the dates and places:


*        Tuesday, 19 August: Montevideo, Uruguay

*        Tuesday, 26 August: Christchurch, New Zealand.

*        Monday, 15 September: Geneva, Switzerland

*        Tuesday, 30 September: Washington DC, United States of America
