Dear Anne,

> http://www.isoc.org/isoc/mission/initiative/chapters.shtml

I regret I cannot respond to above survey because I am unable to
identify region where my country is supposed to belong.

Two entries ("Western Europe" and "CEE/Russia") refer to ancient
divisions discoutinued in current century.

Can you please explain where in your mind belong following EC member states:
- - Austria
- - Bulgaria
- - Cyprus
- - Denmark
- - Estonia
- - Finland
- - Germany
- - Greece
- - Latvija
- - Lithuania
- - Poland
- - Romania
- - Slovakia
- - Sweden
- - Tchech Republic

and two non-EC countries:
- - Norway
- - Croatia?

Technically all of them are located in Central and Eastern Europe.

On the other hand Slovenia - country with historical background similar
to several of the above countries is located in western part of Europe.

I suppose that from North American point of view deep cross-continental
cultural divide is well known - for example between Idaho and
Massachussets. Nevertheless you offer for the whole continent only one
option "North America" (by the way: does it in your intention include
Mexico?). Why do you suppose there is a need to divide Europe into parts
 according to time zones?

Rgds
