As long as you keep any form of free membership, feel free to develope any
business model for those who can afford it. Note, that for great part of the
world, even symbolic membership fee, will leave many enthusiastic ISOC
members out. And if you keep the free membership, which I personally believe
you should do,  please do not name those category of members in a manner
which is offensive to them (we had this trial few years ago and hopefully we
don't want to go through this discussion again).

I can well understand that for many reasons it is important to have various
forms of paid membership. But since Internet is for everyone then I believe
that ISOC should also be affordable for everyone.
