Thanks for your comments. In fact we are in agreement (well almost!)
- we are trying to come at this from a viewpoint that acknowledges
the role of web but is also broader than that and that allows us to
showcase work done by the chapters. If ISOC Mexico decides not to
join that is fine. If there was an overwhelming momentum from
Chapters that said that it would not be good to participate in this -
we would change course. But that was not the case in response to the
last email invitation in January and we are dutifully following up in
responding to interest from a number of chapters.
With respect to exemplary activities - that is the purpose of the
call - to take a look at what might and might not be appropriate and
to try to co-ordinate.
