We are very glad to have the opportunity to run the chapter meeting. We are
planning to start asking all chapters for preferred time and dates very
shortly.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions.

As I wrote in my email below, and as Eduardo has confirmed,  the  
Puerto Rico chapter has graciously agreed to chair the meeting, with  
our help. He will be working defining an agenda and finding a  
suitable timeslot with input from chapter delegates on this list over  
the next few days.  Speaking more generally, local chapters will  
always be invited to run the chapter meeting, but they may not always  
wish to do so and I do not see it as appropriate to insist. You can  
be assured I will always liaise with them first.
