Dear Oscar and Alejandro,
You are right, ISOC is a trademark that should only be given to people
we trust to do a good job.
This is why there is a due diligence process conducted by the staff to
check that applications are not conflicting with others, etc. Before
applications get to the chapter delegates for review, most of the these
checks have been done already.
In this context, comments by chapters are just the icing on the cake.
