Dear colleagues and friends,

I am subscribed in a discussion group "Youth and Internet Governance" at
the TakingITGlobal.org
All of us noticed the importance movement of Youth for ICT and Youth for
Dev at the WSIS in Tunisia.
ISOC has also sponsored the World Summit Youth Award, and Lynn noticed
tha the ISOC mission is essentially to "reaches out specifically to very
important segments, such as young people".
A Youth is defined as being somewhere between age 13 and age 25, and
this is the commonly the student age.
Our Tunisian chapter is working actually with the Tunisian High
education minister to create an "ISOC Club" in each university.
In Tunisia for example this year we had succeed the initiative of the
obligatory online payment and subscription of all the 400 000 student in
all Tunisian universities. Our chapter decided to try to work more
closely with this community.
We are aware about the importance of this community in the Internet
future, that's why I recommend that ISOC create a "Youth ISOC Program",
as a program to develop the involvement of the youth community in the
Internet development.
The initiative of ISOC Club in each university may be a part of this
program.
I hope that this idea would be realized.
Regards.
