Subject: [Chapter-delegates] ISOC at ITU Telecom World 2006

 

Dear all,

 

The Internet Society will be participating in the upcoming ITU Telecom World
2006 in Hong Kong (Dec. 4-8).  ISOC will be joining with other organizations
to host the Internet Pavilion (Booth 8053). If you attend this event, we
encourage you to stop by our booth and show your support for ISOC!  

 

In addition to our exhibit space, ISOC will be center stage as part of ITU's
forums. ISOC's President and CEO, Lynn St.Amour, will participate in the
Youth Forum on December 3rd. She will also participate in a panel discussion
on December the 6th entitled, "New rules and roles in a digital world".
Also, Matthew Shears, ISOC's Director of Public Policy, will participate in
"The Future of Internet Governance" session held on the 5th of December.
Finally, Constance Bommelaer, ISOC's Manager of Public Policy, will chair a
one-day event on the 8th of December entitled "Countering Spam Cooperation
Agenda".
