Trina,
It it with deep sadness, that we receive this news of the passing of
a true internet hero and pioneer. I first met Millard in the early
90's when he offered to send NYU interns to support a community
technology learning center in the East Harlem-Harlem area of New
York. More recently , I met him again at the New York Chapter meeting
last April where I had the opportunity to reconnect with him.
Millard's deep commitment to young people and his overwhelming love
of all efforts that would bring people together using the internet
and technology is an example, a veritable beacon for us all.

On behalf of ISOCPR, I express my deepest condolences to his family,
friends and the NY Chapter for his contribution will be missed. I vow
to follow in his passionate pursuit of his global network vision
that connects youth in meaningful and rich exchanges.

Unconditionally yours,
Ramon Morales
Chairman
Internet Society of Puerto Rico

PS I will ask Herson Cabreras, ISOCPR 's representative in NY to
attend on our behalf.
