The Pacific Islands Legal Information Institute (PacLII
<http://www.paclii.org>), in conjunction with the Australasian Legal
Information Institute (AustLII <http://www.austlii.edu.au/>), will host
the 7th 'Law via Internet' Conference on 17-19 November 2005 in Vila,
Republic of Vanuatu. Previous Law via Internet Conferences have been
held in Sydney (1997, 1999, 2001, 2003), Montreal (2002) and Paris (2004).
Law via the Internet 2005 will present both submitted and invited
papers. The Conference will be preceded by the annual meeting of the
Free Access to Law Movement
<http://www.worldlii.org/worldlii/declaration/> on 17 November, and the
conference proper will take place on 18-19 November.
You can read the programmes for the 2004
<http://www.frlii.org/article.php3?id_article=16> (Paris) conference and
for earlier Conferences <http://www.austlii.edu.au/austlii/conference/>
to see the wide range of topics covered. Also available are selected
papers <http://www.worldlii.org/au/other/CompLRes/> from previous
Conferences.
Proceeds from the Conference will support the provision of free access
to law via the net.
We hope you can join us in November.
