I don't think this is an issue at the Board today.
It's a different story that there are members who are not chapter
affiliated, so they can easily say they are not represented. And they will
be right! What we may need to do is to actually see who they are (most of
them I guess may be in the USA), and what they actually want.
I think though it's time to open a good, positive discussion on how the
end-users, the ISOC members, can be represented. This may include either
have more Trustees, elected by individual members, or have more Trustees,
being elected by the Chapters.

Gene,
we actually have 3 representatives - me, Patrick and Rosa, all elected by
chapters.
But I have responded to your proposal, even before I've read it. A
disucussion - yes. May be even better - have a working group on that topic?
Do you want to get in touch with Lynn and organize it?
