Thank you for your kind offer to help. Yes, you can help:
I think we have to work out the draft of the protest letter, which ISOC
membership world-wide can then send to ISOC CEO with ISOC VP membership
and ISOC Director of Membership to express their dissapointment with the
recent decisions of ISOC HQ.
In my humble opinion this e-mail should be:
- rather short
- very polite
- state clearly that the sender
- does not support recent decision introducing the new 'Membershi Level'
- is against creating a divide between the membership at large
- kindly asks (prior to public announcement) to consult with the members
and chapters any major decision which significantly change their status
I welcome your wish of inter-chapter cooperation: in order to avoid
unnecessary tensions, caused by different understanding of the same
wording by people from different language groups and cultures,
let me kindly ask You,
(as the native speaker of the same language as used by potential receivers)
to draft the text of the protest letter.
