It's not only that non-paid members get less value, they will have to
continue their work for ISOC knowing that:
- in their own organization there is group of rich members, who can buy
the BoT power
- this group of rich members call themselves 'Members', whereas they
(the majority!) have to bear the pejorative label of 'Associated Memeber'

Also in Poland $75 is clearly price prohibitive [this will mean that we
have to increase our fee by 600%]. I may additionally assure you that
the majority of those few, who could afford $75 will deliberately not do
it. In one of the previous postings, my ISOC collegues invited me, as a
member of this same ISOC family, to share his modest table. I am also
deeply touched by another my collegue, who is ready not to have his
desert, to help his ISOC family members. Those people are my family,
with them I want to share my table. And if I want to donate $75 to ISOC,
I will do my best that it is received by those, who have some
interesting projects, compatible with true mission of ISOC.

I don't think ISOC should risk its integrity for as low as 1% of its budget.

Yes, we still wait for Jim and/or David to answer the basic question:
Why ISOC wants to introduce $75 membership and degrade all its members
to the class of 'Associate Members'?
