Dear Erkki,

Whatever the outcome of the elections, this shold
not be a question of life and death.
From the many discussions on this and other
mailing lists, I've learnt a lot of things, have
found where I am wrong, and where I wam right,
and I hope that I will be able to contribute
more, regardless of my position in or out of ISOC HQ.

I'd like also to hear more abou what you and
ISOC-FI do. IETF participation is really great,
and I respect you now quite high because of that
- perhaps also because I've never been active on
the engineering part of the Internet.

What ISOC-Bulgaria has on the agenda in the next
24 months are projects on Internet Governance, on
Free and Open Source Software - www.FOSS.bg, on
using IT in social security in the underdeveloped
regions in Bulgaria (there are such with 50%+
unemployment), on freedom of speech
(www.bg.bigbrotherawards.org), on combating
cyber-crime (www.cybersecuritycooperation.org),
and on Creative Commons (http://creativecommons.org/worldwide/bg/).
We have 3 staff people, who are doing great job -
some of you have already met Ms. Dessi Pefeva or
Ms. Julia Velkova this year; most recently at the
Creative Commons summit in Boston, where Desire
Miloshevic of ISOC-UK was also present
(http://creativecommons.org/press-releases/entry/5488).

If you ever need information from our part of the
world on these and any IT-related subject,
please, do not hesitate to contact me - I'd be happy to help!

Sincerely,
Veni
