Professor Charmonman,
Mr Eduardo Diaz is a founding member of the Internet Society of Puerto Rico
and has been part of its Executive Council since 2001. He carries our full
support to discuss with you the specific ways we can be of assistance to
your chapter's efforts to recover from the devastation caused by the
tsunami.

We are convening a meeting of our Board on Monday to adopt the measures we
intend to take based on your suggestions. At the present time, Gene Gaines'
idea of adopting the building of a school is very appealing to us. By
bringing the worldwide community of chapters together to join this effort,
we could have a positive and concrete impact.

I will ask Veni, Pat and Rosa to consider this proposal and request support
from the North and Latin American chapters in our region. I believe that by
focusing our contributions, we can support something substantive that will
help the children of your country.

Warmest regards,
Ramón Morales
Internet Society of Puerto Rico
