[chapter-delegates] Revised Draft of ISOC Strategic Operating Plan

Dear Chapter Delegates:

Just prior to the ISOC Board meeting in March we asked for your insights on
the draft of the latest ISOC Strategic Operating Plan. Many offered comments
and then the Board also commented upon it.

Consequently, Lyman Chapin made revisions to the draft taking that input
under consideration and the latest version is dated 11 April 2005 -- still
in draft form.

We would like to ask for additional feedback from those who can take a look
and offer their thoughts. It is an extremely important document and will
form the basis of what we do over the next several years.

You may offer comments on this list. In addition, Lyman will be leading a
synchronous meeting on the Yahoo Messenger tool that Andreu Vea has so
graciously started for us. That meeting will be at 20:00 UTC time (15:00 US
East Coast; 21:00 Geneva) next Tuesday, April 19th. To attend this you will
need a Yahoo Messenger ID and an invitation - please separately mail me with
your ID if you wish to attend. For those already in the Yahoo Messenger
group no need to write.
