Your thoughts on the nomination process very good, as are those
of Ramón Morales and Jacek Gajewski.

Certainly I would entrust proposing a revised nomination process
to a working committee of you, Ramón, and Jacek.  Also Margaret
if she could bear to work again on this.

I suggest transparency is also important. An election process
needs transparency, accountability, and an audit trail, even in
the nomination process.
