Veni and others have asked us to stop this discussion,
and I will, but think your email to me deserves a reply.

Thank you for a thoughtful, well-reasoned response. I respect
and accept your reasoning.

There are substantial misunderstandings -- call them ghosts if
you will -- concerning ISOC and its chapters. We are putting
them on the table and dealing with them, so we can move beyond
and many people in many countries can feel comfortable working
together.

I want the issues raised. I do not mind for others to say I am
wrong.

I go silent now.
