<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">That question sits at the heart of the new edition of <strong>Heterotopia</strong>, an annual publication of the <strong>Internet Society India Mumbai Chapter</strong>, an ICANN At-Large Structure (ALS), centred on the theme <strong>Art & Technology</strong>.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">Across 13 essays, reflections and reports, contributors explore the possibilities that technology is opening up for artists and audiences — and the harder questions it raises about authorship, representation, privacy and what remains distinctly human in the creative process.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">• A report from our <strong>Art by the Internet</strong> session with Internet Hall of Fame inductee <strong>DaeYoung (D.Y.) Kim</strong>, exploring the Internet as a stage for real-time artistic collaboration across borders</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">• Essays on whether AI can truly see the world’s cultures, the psychology of algorithmic beauty, AI image generation and data privacy, and how algorithms shape the way we discover the world</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">• Reflections on authenticity from Renaissance light to AI imagery, on digital and traditional art, and on Mumbai as a city where art is lived</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;">The edition brings together the work of <strong>33 contributors, including writers, editors, designers and volunteers</strong>, led by Editor-in-Chief <strong>Nandita Koshal</strong>, with an editorial by <strong>former Chapter President Nupur Vijh</strong>.</span></p>
