<div>Dear Colleagues,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>As many of you know, IETF 126 will take place 18-24 July in Vienna, Austria. The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is the premier standardization organization for the Internet, which the Internet Society proudly supports. Several Internet Society
staff will be attending, including Dan York, David Frautschy, Olaf Kolkman, and Steve Song. The Internet Society Board of Trustees will meet adjacent to the IETF, allowing some Board and Executive Leadership Team members to attend as well.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Some updates: </div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>In preparation for the meeting, we have updated the Internet Society's <a href="https://internetsociety.github.io/IETF-Ornithology/IETF-Ornithology.pdf" target="_blank">IETF Ornithology</a>, a document curating where we believe public policy issues might arise in IETF
work.</li><li>For IETF 126, we have invited policymakers from Austria, Belgium, Benin, Canada, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Gabon, Germany, India, Nigeria, Spain, Sudan, the United Kingdom, and the United States to participate in our <a href="https://www.internetsociety.org/policy-programs/policymakers-program-to-ietf/" target="_blank">IETF
Policymakers Program</a>. This program provides participants with a deep dive into the Internet and its technologies. It also demonstrates how the IETF and other elements of the Internet ecosystem contribute to an open, global, secure, and trustworthy Internet
for everyone.</li></ul>
</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Wishing those headed to IETF 126 a productive week!</div>
