The Internet Society Malaysia Chapter was formally dechartered on 8 June 2026, following an extended rejuvenation effort that began in October 2023. Despite an extension, the rejuvenation committee was ultimately unable to restore the chapter. It has since
also been removed from our website’s <span style="color: rgb(204, 73, 80);"><a href="https://www.internetsociety.org/chapters/" title="https://www.internetsociety.org/chapters/" data-outlook-id="1fdc99a5-c687-448d-bc4d-de86f683be42" style="color: rgb(204, 73, 80);">chapter
map</a></span>, and there is currently no active chapter in Malaysia.</div>
