behalf of the Internet Society Elections Committee, I wish
to extend my appreciation and thanks to all of the
candidates for the Board of Trustees elections. We are
honored that so many qualified individuals offered to
serve on the board. Voting closed on Monday and the
election results were certified today, in accordance with
the elections timetable.</span></p>

the Chapters election, there were five (5) candidates for
two (2) seats. Having received the most votes, Caleb
Ogundele and Ramanou Biaou have been elected to a 3-year
term each.</span></p>

turn-out in the Chapters election was 91.06%. Of the 123
eligible chapters, 112 voted. In accordance with the </span><span

candidates for one (1) seat. Having received the highest
weighted vote counts, Sharon Kent has been elected to
