<div>Yesterday, 1 September 2024, marked a new milestone for the Internet Society as Sally Wentworth became our new President and CEO. <div>We first shared this information with our community back in May 2024, but this week marks the start of her term. While Sally is new to the role of President and CEO, she has been a leader within our organization since joining the staff in 2009.
Many of you have had the opportunity to work with Sally over the last 15 years, and know her passion for the vision and mission of this organization.</div>

<div>As she mentioned in her post, during her time as CEO, Sally intends to deepen the connections and engagement across our community so that, together, we can build and defend a strong, open Internet for everyone. Please join me in sharing this news
