<div dir="ltr"><div><i><u>French and spanish below</u></i></div><div><br></div><div>Dear Friends,<br></div><div><br>As a member of the Internet Society and its French chapter since 2010, and president of the same chapter since 2015, I am pleased to present my candidature for the CHAC <span style="background:none">STEERING</span> <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">COMMITEE</span></span> today. I could be considered an "Internet Society baby", as I joined the ISOC family through the NEXT GENERATION LEADER program.<br><br>On a personal side, I've been a digital entrepreneur for over 25 years. Dedicated to a neutral and open Internet, I have run several companies, including digital agencies and, more recently, a network of digital schools, inclusive and based on the social and sustainable economy.<br><br>Within the French chapter, I've been able to lead various projects and campaigns:<br>- organizing the annual IGF France,<br>- numerous positions taken with the French government and public bodies to defend users' rights,<br>- numerous actions concerning personal data, including a white paper aimed at teachers and educators<br>- a group action concerning personal data<br>- a very active group on IPv6<br>I'm also a member of the Commission Nationale Consultative des Droits de l'Homme, which promotes respect for human rights.<br><br>I think that:<br>- the Internet Society and its Foundation could do even more to support Chapter initiatives.<br>- many actions could be taken to encourage common projects between chapters<br>- <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">finally</span></span>, the Internet Society should take inspiration from local initiatives to improve membership and fundraising.<br><br>I'll contribute with my vision as a passionate entrepreneur to the CHAC <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">STREERING</span></span> <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">COMMITEE</span></span>.<br><br>If any of you would like to discuss my candidature, please do not hesitate to contact me: <a href="mailto:nicolas.chagny@isoc.fr" target="_blank">nicolas.chagny@isoc.fr</a><br><br>Yours sincerely,<br>Nicolas<br></div><div><br></div><div><i><br></i></div><div><i><u>French version</u></i></div><div><br></div><div>Chers Amis, Chers Collègues, Chers Partenaires,<br><br>Membre de l’Internet Society et de son chapitre français depuis 2010 et président de ce même chapitre depuis 2015, j’ai le plaisir aujourd’hui de vous présenter ma candidature pour le CHAC <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">STREERING</span></span> <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">COMMITEE</span></span>. On pourrait me prendre pour un bébé Internet Society puisque j’ai rejoint la famille de l’ISOC en suivant le programme NEXT GENERATION LEADER.<br><br>A titre personnel, je suis un entrepreneur du numérique depuis plus de 25 ans. Engagé pour un Internet neutre et ouvert, j’ai <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">dirigés</span></span> plusieurs sociétés dont des agences digitales et, plus récemment, un réseau d’école du numérique, inclusif et ancré dans l’économie sociale et solidaire.<br><br>Au sein du chapitre français, j’ai pu mener différents projets et combats :<br>- l’organisation annuelle du FGI France,<br>- de nombreux positionnements auprès de l’Etat et des acteurs publics pour la défense des droits des utilisateurs,<br>- de nombreuses actions autour des données personnelles dont un livre blanc à destination des professeurs et éducateurs<br>- une action de groupe relative aux données personnelles<br>- un groupe très actif sur IPv6<br>Je suis également membre de la Commission Nationale Consultative des Droits de l’Homme, qui <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">oeuvrent</span></span> pour le respect des droits de l’homme.<br><br>Je pense que :<br>- l’Internet Society et sa fondation pourraient soutenir encore mieux les initiatives des chapitres<br>- de nombreuses actions pourraient être menées pour favoriser les projets en commun, entre chapitres<br>- enfin, l’Internet Society <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">pourraient</span></span> s’inspirer <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">d’initiative</span></span> <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">locale</span></span> pour améliorer le membership et le fundraising.<br><br>J’apporterai au CHAC <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">STREERING</span></span> <span style="background:none"><span class="ng" style="background:none!important">COMMITEE</span></span> ma vision d’entrepreneur engagé.
