The first resolution states: RESOLVED, that the board fully supports the <br>

of accessibility within ISOC and work toward eliminating barriers to <br>

processes, and practices for persons with disabilities;<br>
<br>
This is followed by three more specific resolutions.<br>
<br>
The Accessibility Standing Group congratulates the Board of Trustees in <br>
making these landmark resolutions that will be greatly benefit persons <br>
with disabilities and that will underpin ISOC's vision of The Internet <br>
is for Everyone.<br>
<br>
While this was a joint decision by the Board of Trustees, we especially <br>
wish to show our sincere appreciation to Dr Muhammad Shabbir who <br>
initiated this important milestone and who is currently standing for <br>
re-election.<br>
