This is very sad news indeed. <br class="">
<br class="">
We had included a paragraph about John in our last chapter newsletter (“A Look ahead” message). I’m sharing it here for those of you who may have missed it earlier: <br class="">

<b class="">Remembering John More<br class="">
=====================</b><br class="">
We are deeply saddened by the news of John More's passing. John tirelessly contributed to our shared vision and mission through various roles over the years, including as chapter leader of the Internet Society's US Washington DC chapter and his involvement
 with the IGF USA. He was one of the initiators of the Internet Society's Chapters Advisory Council and Nominations and Elections chair of its Steering Committee. John worked continuously and selflessly for the good of the Internet and the people using it.
 He was a friend, advisor, and mentor to many of us. Staff and community members from around the world will miss John dearly.
