Dear Juan-Carlos,

As a member of the Internet for Education SIG, you can see all communications of that SIG on the Internet for Education
SIG's Connect community . All members joining the Internet for Education SIG via the Internet Society’s member portal are automatically added to that community to ensure open and transparent communications with and among its members. The Internet for Education
SIG currently has 192 members. E-mail notifications are going out to all members when a new message is posted to that community. This specific SIG has a communications thread of about 80 messages there over the last few months.

I understand that my colleague Kyle Shulman, who is in charge of our work with the SIGs and standing groups, was also in touch separately to help. Please reach out to him again in case there’s anything else we can do.

Best,

In the first place, I was very surprised... right now, I am very disgusted :-/

I consider myself a bit "connaisseur" about the communication ways in Organizations...

How many registered members in for Education SIG could have in the same trouble?

Please, any of the person with the duty, could give me the full history and path of communications and the several platforms used for the communications between the new SIG and their members?

I am very curious about when and how the "new" members of the new SIG we received the instructions in order to keep in the loop.
The new 2022 special interest groups (SIGs) and standing groups (SGs) were announced on 19 October last year and members were invited to join the new groups. You can do so via the Internet Society’s Member Portal at
https://admin.internetsociety.org/622619/User/Login > Join a Chapter/SIG if not done so yet.

Each group has its SIG/SG specific community on Connect that is used for communication with all members of each group. The call for nominations for the leadership elections went out via this channel in December 2021 with various follow-up communications after
that, the elections are currently ongoing.

We’ll have a look at your specific records and will get back to both of you off list.

Best,
I was interested to join this SIG, but I did not receive any further mail about the formation and the membership. Neither I received a call for proposing Board members.

Something was missed? On which side?
