      It is my sad duty to inform you that our friend and staff
      colleague, Sandy Spector, has passed away.  Many of you will

      all a clear vision of how to make this organization eager,
      efficient, and most importantly effective in achieving our
      vision.  She believed, as I know you all do, that the Internet is
      for everyone.

      Sandy was enormously important in the staff organization, and
      tomorrow (24 September) will be a day of reflection, so please be
      forgiving if response time seems slower than normal. <br>
