    <p>Two things I would like to see are:</p>
    <p>1. ISoc take a <i>bottom-up</i> approach in much of its
      activities, where the <i>chapters </i>(and org and individual
      members) initiate most of the work and the staff <i>implement</i>
      them under the guidance of the members. Right now, most programs
      are staff driven and have little input from members.</p>
    <p>2. We start a major focus on getting the <i>movers and shakers</i>
      of the Internet community (service providers, developers and
      users) be <i>active</i> members of ISoc, and play a major part in
      chapter leadership.</p>
