ISOC is not a trust.  It is a non-for-profit corporation.  <br>

The term Trustee is often used in the U.S. for the members of a board<br>
of not-for-profit organizations. When I was on the governing board of<br>
my village, my title there was also Trustee.<br>

PS: I happen to be quite familiar with the difference between a<br>
not-for-profit corporation and a trust because I am also a trustee of<br>
the IETF Trust, which really is a trust. It holds copyrights,<br>
trademarks, and licenses for the benefit of the IETF.<br>
