<div dir="auto">On behalf of the ISOC Elections Committee, I
wish to extend our appreciation and thanks to all of the
nominees and final candidates for the Board of Trustees. We
are honored that such well-qualified individuals offered to
serve on the Board. The election results were certified today,
according to the elections timetable.</div>

<div dir="auto">CHAPTERS</div>
<div dir="auto">In the Chapters election we had three candidates
for one Trustee seat. Olga Cavalli received the greatest
number of votes.</div>
<div dir="auto"><br>
</div>
<div dir="auto">ORGANIZATIONS</div>
<div dir="auto">In the Organization Members election there were
four candidates for two Trustee seats. Mieke van Heesewijk and
Mike Godwin received the largest weighted vote count.</div>
<div dir="auto"><br>
</div>
<div dir="auto">It may be of further interest that in the 2019
Elections, 100 of the 116 eligible Chapters voted, or 86.2%
and 65 out of 105 eligible Organization Members voted, or
61.9%.</div>

<div dir="auto"><span style="font-family:sans-serif">Please join
me in congratulating the successful candidates and thanking
all who ran. I also thank all voters, members of the
Elections Committee and ISOC's supporting staff, whose work
was instrumental in achieving such a high voter turnout.</span><br>

<div dir="auto">Challenges may be lodged between now and 15:00
UTC on Wednesday, 17 April by email to the President of the
Internet Society, Andrew Sullivan (<a href="mailto:Sullivan@isoc.org" target="_blank">Sullivan@isoc.org</a>).
Any such challenges must be addressed to the President of the
Internet Society with a recital of the reasons for the
challenge. The President, after consultation with the chairs
of the Nominations and Elections Committees and the members of
the Board of Trustees, shall advise the challenge author of
the Board's decision by Wednesday, 24 April.</div>
