It is known that they operate a 2G cellular network for voice. Its resources are extremely limited so they have to cut the calls really short. Data (Internet) is mostly hopeless. The new thing I heard last week: the evolution of the project may not be towards 3G, 4G, 5G, but more likely to 2G plus data. I haven't found out the rationale for this choice but speculate it could have something to do with the cell radius, which is larger in the older technologies (5 km vs. 2 km of 3G onwards?)
