Trustees Elections Committee, I wish to extend our
appreciation and thanks to all of the nominees and
candidates for the Board of Trustees Election 2016.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

lang="EN-US">We are pleased and honored that such
well-qualified individuals stepped forward and committed
themselves to serve on the Internet Society Board.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

results have been counted and certified by the Elections

lang="EN-US">In the chapters election we had three
candidates for one open Trustee seat. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-US"
lang="EN-US">Olga Cavalli received 38 votes out of the 79
votes cast.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-US"
lang="EN-US">Each of the other candidates received less than
this number of votes. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

lang="EN-US">A list of all Chapters eligible to vote in the
2016 election, indicating which Chapters exercised their

lang="EN-US">In the Organizational Membership election three
candidates were available for two open Trustee seats. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-US"
lang="EN-US">In the election, the vote of each
organizational member has a weight of between 1 and 6 based
on the membership category.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-US"
lang="EN-US">Each voter had two votes.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span

lang="EN-US">Desiree Miloshevic received 202 weighted votes
out of the 240 weighted votes cast. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

lang="EN-US">Harish Pillay received 94 weighted votes out of
the 240 weighted votes cast.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

lang="EN-US">The other candidate received less than this
number of votes. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
