    <p>Today we celebrate 20 years since the day we founded the Internet
      Society of Bulgaria (<a href="http://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fisoc.bg%2Findex_en.html&h=9AQHMfa9AAQH1ZSl3SGS8Luitn8OjeKqnk036hlVBURFwJw&enc=AZMnl2_p1V-o09o2OwuCUBrGgapMAB2gePyhxtf0YaQBmgUH4tgUpjh-h76GBaf43NSOFL787la2mjdZ04NbQChA5TGVYG9ckC47pIgeXdjbUxnab8s4yGZHvl6mhFkdiYXr56YflTRLh44vewAMSFBrOLUJ9TZJwpMddNpjvqt6yruBjnngn7YdE_xFOW3mOPs&s=1" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://isoc.bg/index_en.html" target="_blank">http://isoc.bg/index_en.html</a>).
    </p>
    <p> Little did we know in 1995 that we'll become the first, and the
      leading Internet-policy related organization in Bulgaria. We
      became known in 1999, when we sued the Bulgarian government at he
      Supreme Administrative Court against the licensing for the ISPs
      they have introduced. You can read more details about the case

    <p> Our<span> expertise was used through
        the years to help draft legislation, provide expertise support
        for the government, help people and organizations in need of
        Internet-related know-how, etc. </span></p>
    <p> We were also asked in 2002 to draft the statute of the first
      Bulgarian President's Information Technology Advisory committee,
      where we invited as members Vint Cerf, Esther Dyson, George
      Sadowsky, Piritta Sorsa, Don Heath and Richard Delmas (<a href="http://www.president.bg/archive-2002-2012/en/adm_sit.php" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://www.president.bg/archive-2002-2012/en/adm_sit.php" target="_blank">http://www.president.bg/archive-2002-2012/en/adm_sit.php</a>).</p>
