Dear Chapter Delegates and Leaders

With all the pointing and questioning going on, I think it's high time we think about what we should all do for the community. ISOC community is something where we all have shown our association for CHANGE and standardization.

The whole standardization issue of performance is a question of how you want to evaluate yourself in terms of your efficiency and management. Why are we getting scared of all these performance factors?

I think to some extent we have pushed the ISOC HQ to lay down these performance factors as they have no choices about how to monitor and manage and I think we should try to understand it seeing through eyes.

Why are we questioning the ISOC Staff and trustees they are part of us our community and most importantly we have selected them and they work for us and our community.

I have rarely met or known the staffs personally but I sincerely trust them as I believe they are doing good for us our community. let's have that benefit of doubt and move together UNITED coz it matters for all of us and our message of standing of Internet is for Everyone.

Let's have that trust and believe in them and let's work towards progress then to criticize and just pointing fingers at other. As we all know when you point your finger then 3 fingers are pointing at you about your role and objective.

I have been associated with ISOC since 2006, I have not seen much but I know that change can happen from you, and we all have the same objective to UNITE then why are we questioning each other and creating a mess

We all have joined for one purpose of OPEN INTERNET and that should unite us all.

Cheers to Life
Shreedeep Rayamajhi
00977-9841374547(Nepal)
Grigori,
This is among the reasons I have supported both in the by-laws and in
execution, a Chapter Advisory group. But do keep in mind that as was
stated by the past Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, today, by charter
and by structure ISOC is governed by the Trustees who delegate operational
duties to staff and receive input from Members, the IETF and Chapters.
ISOC from its very beginning has been consultative and collaborative when
developing and implementing mission goals & strategy but not bottom up.
